QUADRILLISM

This series is a bit of a divergence from my purely algorithmic process. After developing my rectilinear series I was compelled to create a simple set of drawing rules, based upon the quadrille paper that I use for sketching. I created a very basic set of shapes that fit geometrically into the 1/4" squares of the paper. These shapes are reminiscent of Ed Emberley's instructional drawing books. I felt Emberleyism was a bit of an awkward, mouthful of a name for the series. Quadrillism seemed straightforward. These prints are available in unlimited editions of archival prints on paper or aluminum.
